A 63-year-old male with a history of R total knee replacement is complaining of knee pain, redness, and swelling. His knee started swelling a few days ago and has pain with flexion. You perform an ultrasound and notice a large effusion. To assist with diagnosis, you opt to perform a knee arthrocentesis.
